A hospital in Illinois is seeking a thoracic surgery nurse practitioner who can provide locum tenens coverage for two to 4 weeks per month for three months beginning in mid-November, with the chance of an extension.
On a typical day, the provider will see three to 5 cases, and will inpatient round on ten to 20 patients.
The provider will work Monday to Friday from 7 a.m.
to 5 p.m.
and will be on call.
The provider must be experienced in cardiovascular surgery, surgical first-assisting, EVH, perioperative patient care and inpatient rounding.
This facility uses the Epic EMR and will provide training.
